The Poor Clares’, Sauk Rapids, prayers gave me the tools for the strength and devotion I needed to beat cancer; Praises to God. They wrote to me about my visit and prayer requests in a personal letter. They truly know and listen and I agree with the other reviewers, “they are the prayer warriors of our community and the world.” Praise God for the Poor Clares and thank you.

We love the Poor Clares. They will take your prayer requests 24/7 (leave a message and they check it frequently). The Poor Clares are the powerhouse prayer warriors of the Diocese of St. Cloud. This community of cloistered women know more the world and the community than you might realize, because of the many prayer requests they receive. What a blessing they are!

I go to the Poor Clares for any of my own prayer requests, as well as for other people I love and know. They will always write you, send lots of prayer cards you can recite for your prayer needs, and they always write you a letter to go along with it. They are blessed and holy people! They also send you a receipt for any money you give them, in thanksgiving for all of the many prayers they say for you. Call them or stop by soon! It's worth a trip. They also have a very nice small chapel off to the right when you enter the monastery. Free rosaries, and scapulars too.
