We just returned from a weeks stay at Creekwood Resort and had a fantastic week. This is without a doubt the best campground we have ever stayed at. Melissa and Robert take pride in their property and pay attention to every little detail. The WiFi they have put in is top notch, and better than any hotel or campsite I've ever stayed at. Melissa and Robert are great host and such a delight talking with. And if you ever need help backing into a spot, Melissa is a master at giving directions. If you are looking at camping in this area, this is the place you MUST stay at.

Great cabin in the woods. Owners Robert n Melissa are so nice n friendly n couldn’t do enough. Everything is thought if...down to last little measuring cup n spoons!!! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Recommend these cabins to all. It’s in a great location also. Close to Helen, GA n tons of hiking.
Just spent a week at Creekwood and if I could would give them 6 stars I would. Sites were large and very level with nice firepits. Campground was neat and clean and owners living on site is such a plus. I also think the rules they have in place made the stay that much more relaxing and enjoyable. Campground is 5 miles from downtown Helen and plenty of hiking and waterfall locations which also makes it convenient. Will definitely stay again.

Our group of friends decided we needed a break from Covid and were looking for a small, full RV hookups campground in the north GA mountains near various activities. Creekwood Resort more than "fit the bill". It has 18 campsites, is well maintained and you don't have to worry about kids on bikes. They have really nice wooden steps, with their logo, if you need them to provide and extra step in/out of your RV. The 30amp at my site was not working and Melissa offered me a 50 to 30 pigtail so I could have power. I had my own but this is just an example of their supportive services for whatever you might need. Melissa and Robert are gracious hosts; there when you need them and they do not intrude unnecessarily. Melissa will assist you with backing into your campsite. She is the best backup assist I have had with RVing. So, as the rules say, "get over yourself". Betty's Country Store in Helen is worth a visit if you find yourself needing groceries or almost anything. The campground is located close to a couple outstanding farm to table restaurants: Bernie's in Sautee Nacoochee and Harvest Habersham in Clarkesville. Both are doing an excellent job with managing in the social distancing of a Covid world. We had a few "rain out" days but hey it is hurricane season so we experienced some of the rain bands. There are fabulous hikes in the area, several to wonderful waterfalls. In addition, there are local artisan shops in the area for pottery and crafts. I will definitely be a return visitor to Creekwood Resort.
Super great people, can't say enough about them. Campsites are small and bathrooms need updating. Very small quiet place if that is what you are looking for. Very close to Helen, and just a very quaint place.
My wife and I stayed in the Leopard Lodge cabin. The cabin was great! It was very clean and we'll maintained. There is so much to do in the area. We spent time in Helen, rented a pontoon on Lake Burton, hiked to waterfalls. We can not wait to get back and continue to explore. Creekwood is the perfect place to stay!
We stayed at Two Giraffe Cabin. The decor is adorable and whimsical. Everything is very clean and new. I seriously could just live here. The cabin makes you feel like you are in the woods because you can't see the campground only the beautiful appalachian woods. Each room has a TV. The kitchen is complete and there is a gas grill on the lovely deck. There is an upstairs jacuzzi by a glass door which opens to the forest canopy. The owners are very friendly and helpful, it is so obvious that they put their heart into this place. The price is very resonable for a piece of heaven. We have stayed twice and hope to return
