Accidentally run into this place while I was looking for the entrance of the canoe rental place. I was so glad that I went to the wrong way first. It was a brand new arts for me to check. Definitely would like to know more about it.

The PUPPETS, man! THE PUPPETS! Talk about a tree pulp wonderland! Their puppet creations are hands-down awe inspiring. It would be easy to think I'm using hyperbole... unless you've seen their work. This is their creation studio. You'll notice from the pictures posted along with this review that they also host auctions here. The auctions, from what I can recall, are hosted twice a year and include both a silent and live auction. The live auction!!! Yes, they have that person that talks faster than a Gilmore Girls filler scene! Porky pig stutter speed! While this studios is out in Saxapahaw (worth the drive!), they bring their shows to Chapel Hill and surrounding schools. Amazing! ...I wonder if they could be invited to your school! Check 'em out next time you hear of an open house!

I try to come here at least one Saturday every summer. The only days you can contribute to the puppets are on Saturday's in the summer although you can see the year's finished work in the fall in Chapel Hill and the NCMA. It is a happy environment where you can fulfill your artsy desires.

This show is amazing! Great for kids and adults. These are not your ordinary puppets. They are huge paper maché puppets done really well. They tell fascinating stories in a live performance. I went with my 4 year old son and other family members to the Forest Amphitheater in CH. We all loved it!

If you have never seen this group, don't wait, just go. I was totally blown away by the incredible artistry of the puppets and the world class talent of their musicians for the show "Of Wings and Feet." A rare and beautiful gem in our state.
