Susan is one of the absolute best trainers to ride with. I've been riding with her for years and has helped me grow as rider. She is also a very wonderful and understanding friend to me. The barn itself is wonderful and the horses are all great! I've been to other barns, there good, but because we are a little smaller here everyone is like family. The time I spend training with Susan is more personal so I don't feel like I'm not getting the focus I need.

Susie Collins is one of the best trainers you will ever meet. She is so kind, generous, and very forgiving. She makes everyone feel like family. She will put your horse above her horses. She takes very good care of all the horses and she has so much knowledge in the horse world that you could come to her for ANYTHING! She will help you in any situation, and always gives you kind advise. She would never hurt a horse, or underfeed it. She has very nice stalls, pastures, and arena. She has the best family with two adorable children, and the best husband, who is so helping in every situation. Anyone who trains under Susie Collins is truly blessed. There isn't another trainer out there who cares as much about her horses and riders as she does. She will go out of her way to make sure you feel at home at her barn (which is absolutely gorgeous). She is flexible and has done a lot for me and my family to help me reach my goals. All people who board at her barn have seen amazing results in their horses in and out of the ring. This barn is a great opportunity for beginning or advanced riders. Amazing things happen at SCC Farm.
Susie Collins is a joke of a trainer. She starves horses when you give her a notice to leave. Makes her horses jump 4ft several days a week and teach several lessons a day even when they have arthiritis in their hocks are on no supplements are underweight and don't get proper vet work done. She chooses to blame other people for her own mistakes. She flat out tells off her riders at horse shows, and in front of other clients. She will ask you to import horses with the agreement she gets a portion. She will lie and say she rode them when she either let one of her teen riders who need proper training to ride a hot horse or a more advanced horse or not ride at all. The training you pay every month yeah that's for a 13yr old to do \professional\ training on your horse. I have seen video of her yanking on a horse mouth and kicking them to jump higher over jumps. These horses are afraid of being ridden or are so broken they cannot fight you. For 650 a month you can board at a much nicer facility with a trainer that can actually train. This is the result of being raised having mommy and daddy pay for everything even when you're 30. Also, don't be surprised if you get stuck babysitting for her.
We board our horse here and my daughter takes lessons. We've been with Ms. Susie for two years and my daughter has progressed from a mediocre rider to a true talent. Plus, she has the opportunity to learn about the complete care of her horse from mucking stalls to feeding to grooming to vet visits to extensive training. My daughter has never been happier. I love the barn family atmosphere that Ms. Susie builds as well. We have regular barn parties and the girls help each other during shows. If you're looking for a show team barn with country heart, this is the place. (BTW, note how muscular and happy the horse is. He's thriving at SCC Farm.)
