My daughter graduated from Barbizon when it was located off N. Michigan & Ohio. She liked it but they don't guarantee work. She had a greater interest in the culinary field which she is a chef as a result. I was disappointed in the fact that she modeled in bars a great distance from home in lingerie where drunken patrons bought them off her body. We quickly went to plan B. Not to say it's not possible to be successful but u have to send photos to prospects, pound the pavement or know somebody. Most of my money went toward wardrobe for events within the school itself. This was in the 80's.

I worked here and it is a scam! Not only did I feel like I was lying everyday, but I was disappointed and hurt because as a teenager I attended this school and signed with the agency. I quit after a 6 short months and I would tell everyone to save their money- real models don't need to be taught!
