Tellers are friendly and helpful. They reversed a bad charge and waived the overdraft fees on a different charge that was taken too soon. Love this bank.

There still respecting responsible and one thing I like about them is they don’t push you into getting a checking or savings account with them they ask you what you want they ask you about your life your family and that’s one thing I love about NBT Bank and the tellers are wonderful.
If I could give them no Stars I would. Do not bank with NBT at all. They are the worst bank to do business with, they rob you and think they can get away with it. The customer service from any branch, especially Bonnie at the State St branch is horrifying. I am now fighting with them over a charge, that they had no right to take. Account closed and will never refer them to anyone, and highly recommended not doing business with any of there branches. Go to Pioneer.
I am there at least twice a week and every time the tellers have been cheerful and efficient.
Started my business account almost 2 months ago & haven't received by debit card. I have been completed lied to repeatedly by the customer service!!!!! And the manager tried to over talk me when THEY ARE in the wrong for doing my paperwork incorrectly!!!! Failing to realize they are causing much delay in my business!!!!! I would not recommend this bank to anyone cause obviously the tellers are very incompetent of their jobs & customer service!!!! Put your business & trust into another bank!!!!!!!
They removed my overdraft protection for no reason . Messed up my whole month financially.
