The news department does a better job than the Times Union. But I’ve never met a more unreliable company. They’re completely incompetent to deliver a newspaper. I started my subscription in November 2019. Since then I have only received four papers that did not require me calling and requesting a re-delivery. I have over 25 correspondence/emails with them letting them know about my missed deliveries. Whoever manages the deliveries is completely incompetent. I’ve talk to multiple “Members of management“ and they cannot seem to figure out how to deliver a newspaper to my house. Granted I live in Rotterdam in a regular neighborhood where my neighbor gets a paper every single day.

I get the e-version of the Gazette. If you are an early riser like me (5:30am), be prepared to contact them at least once every few weeks because it will not be up and working. And of course, no one answers the phone at the Gazette until 6:00am so if you look forward to that first cup of coffee and reading the paper, you will be out of luck. Most times the person answering the phone will tell you she will report the problem but no one gets in until 8:00am. It's very annoying. They are always crying the blues about low readership. Then fix the problems!!

I went to a 75yr anniversary w a friend who’s dad used to work in the press room when she was growing up. It was such a nice visit & great cake that looked like a bundle of papers. Lol
