Rudolph Schindler's own residence on Kings Road, built in 1922. Amazing radical complete reimagining of human domestic space. Living and working spaces, indoor vs. outdoor areas, all wholly original, and appropriate to the specific location (Southern California). Now operated by MAK, which usually has some free visiting hours -- check their website.

Amazing random lights. Extremely hyped and lives up to its beauty. Everyone will be taking pictures and posting it on instagram. Attendance is free of charge. People will get in the way of your pictures. Do not foul around and climb the lights. Security guards will be watching. I can't think of another place filled with so many street-like lamps.

The Schindler house is a wonderful place and it’s in a quiet neighborhood in Los Angeles The house is really well preserved and the entrance is 10 dollars it’s easy to find a parking spot in the area and that’s a plus in LA The house is fully open and you can look into every room the only place not accessible is the terrasse on the roof There is often exhibit inside with different types of artist If you love architecture and you are in LA you should definitely go

Step onto the grounds and far away from Weho and the bustle of LA. This is a lovely garden house, rich with texture and quiet light play. We played badminton in the front yard. There are several other immersive experiences. Nice job yet again, Cal Poly Pamona.
