After moving out they did an inspection and gave me the bill. They said if I have any problems I could call them. I called multiple times per day and they never answered. They charged me 150 because there was trash in the trash can that i put out to the curb because we were cleaning out the house. Still cant get ahold of them. It is much cheaper and convenient to live off base.

I paid a cleaning staff and changed some appliances for new ones, and even that.. this place charged me, and not to mention the floor and the refrigerator, they did give it to me the first day like second hand and today they charged me more than 500 dollars in total for the brand new house ... ... the neighborhood is very nice but keep in mind that this is a business and they take advantage of your money ... we can't do anything ... even though I have evidence from the cleaning staff and the people who replaced the equipment they told me that I still have to pay.... so I just posted some pictures of one of the things that they charged me ... so you can see ... (the leaves of the tree that they have on the ground in front of the house .. the door of the microwave and you can see that it is new . I changed it one day before moving in ... and still they charged me as dirty ..) And they answear me with this ... On 9/21, MHO visited the residence and unfortunately, we agree with the charges. As you can see from the attached photos, there were some items that were still dirty. When it comes to cleaning charges, if SFH has to do any sort of cleaning – no matter how minimal it may be – they have to charge the resident.
Stay away from this place. Their move out inspections are short of a scam. The pre-inspection and move out inspections are done by two different people. During the post inspection whoever was doing it was a lot more thorough and found things not even pointed out by the first inspection, so how am I supposed to fix it? Outrageous move out cost for the subpar housing, they added more move out costs after I had signed the receipt as well. Better luck moving to the small towns around base, it’s cheaper and nicer.
Helpful during move in and while staying. Expect to be nickel and dimed for absolutely everything during your final inspection. Can not recommend Scott family housing at all. I was charged nearly 1400 dollars for my move out fees.
Unprofessional staff, highly illegal business practices, high monthly rates for the houses you’re renting, high utilities, they take advantage of military families and nickel and dime you upon move out. Save yourself a lot of frstration and money and just move off base. The convenience is nice, but it isn’t worth it.
