Dr. Cohen did the tubes in my ears and all went well. Then 2 years later I experienced discomfort and ringing in my ears. When I went in he yanked out the tube without warning me! So painful, then he had me turn over to do the other one! I would never go back, even the nurse looked shocked when he did that.

He is my favorite Dr and I have lots of Drs because I have Lupus. He is funny, and so quick that I never know what he's doing and then he is done! I have had many nasal endoscopes and steroid injections done to reduce inflammation in my sinuses. Now that I'm an existing patient, the office is able to get me in very soon. It's wonderful!

It is not in my DNA to write thank you letters to doctors under my care when a mutual and friendly understanding already exist between patient and doctor. However, when I do write a thank you note to a doctor It's gotta be something that is unique with a point of difference and needs to be shared with others. Dr. Joel Cohen listens to your concerns and takes a genuine personal interest in all endeavors of his unselfish discipline to help all of his patients. This is where Dr.Cohen shines the most! He first greets you with a smile with such delicacy of mannerisms and understanding that simply puts the patient in a calm like confidence that makes the entire sit-down-with-the-doc a most pleasant experience. A doctor can be a good doctor but not a good surgeon. A doctor can be a good surgeon but not a good doctor. Dr. Joel Cohen is BOTH a good surgeon and a good doctor. Hands down! He goes out of his way to always smile and treats you like he really cares. Todays’s office visit consisted of deep inner ear wax removal combined with additional inner debris workings with a scalpel or lancet. When Dr. Cohen was done with the procedure:- It was like “limp in limp out” experience. WOW! I could hear again!

Dr. Cohen brings to the table years of experience. He is a pioneer in many of the Otolaryngology treatments other ENT doctors offer, and did a great job removing a polyp I had in one of my sinuses (eight years ago and once again on Feb). He gives personal treatment, he's funny, and you can tell he knows what he is doing.
