They are open! I am a Full Time Ultrarunner and recovery is in my view just as important as training. BALUNSD is complying with all COVID-19 regulations. It's such a clean and safe therapy location. I am very fortunate that they exist. You can't get this kind of resource anywhere else. Thank you BALUNSD!

I would highly recommend Balunsd AZ! I've been coming here for over a year and discovered the place following a running injury. It's now part of my almost daily practice to come here to use the amazing recovery tools I can't access anywhere else. I'm a runner and without Balunsd, I wouldn't recover as fast as I do and wouldn't be able to run the miles I run without pain/soreness! Each visit I contrast in the hot/ice tubs, use the infrared sauna and normatect boots. I was devestated when Balunsd had to close their doors during COVID-19 lock down, and I'm grateful they are back open! Yes there are changes to times, max people and prices. However, this is a changing world we are all in and we have to adapt and be patient. The managers are doing an amazing job at balancing the CDC guidelines while still meeting the needs of their customers. And hey, if I get the Sauna all to myself for 20 mins, I'm not complaining! As for the prices, if I have to pay a more to help support this wonderful small/local business stay open, that's an easy choice. Broken down by week, it's not a lot and I am saving money in the long run by avoiding paying for PT, deep tissue massages and medical bills. Thanks Balunsd AZ for staying open!
I did the Ironman Arizona and i had a friend who lives about 300 miles away ... she was amazing and bought me a day pass to BALUNSD the day after the event. It was amazing! The staff was friendly and excellent at explaining best practices. The compression boots were excellent and the cold tub was torture but perfect! I am sure this helped my recovery big time. Definitely will be back after my next big event!
Best recovery studio there is! So many options to recover your muscles after a hard workout - ice bath, hot tub, sauna, or my personal favorite Normatec! Balunsd is the only place for me when it comes to recovery!
