We really appreciate this school. It has been great for our kiddo. He is ahead academically and we think this school is a big part of that. He once told us that he wants to skip some weekends because he wants to be able to go to school everyday. That says everything you need to know about CDS.

This school is everything you want for your child: educated and caring staff, welcoming and friendly environment, well rounded curriculum that includes foreign language, art, music, pe, computers, worldly awareness and basic subjects, clean and organized school with phenomenal chef created food that is healthy! They build your child's self confidence with their inclusiveness and exceptional customer service. I am thankful my son attended here.

As a family, we totally love this school. Not sure what the school was like a couple years ago, I can only rate on our experience last year. First, my son didn't say much and was very shy. With time and patience, the staff and his teacher helped so much with him blossoming into an interactive child. They have a great campus, all staff is awesome, and teachers top notch. They also provide a before and after care for working parents. My favorite thing was that when there was a question, issue, or concern Erica was just on it! When you work, it just relieves any concern. Everyone is so caring, patient, and nurturing to all the children. Miss Larkman is also an amazing teacher, she played an instrumental role in my child's academic development. He was reading and writing basic letters, numbers, and name by the end of pre-k. Due to us working, my son has attended 4 other schools since he was 18mo. and this was by far the best!! Adding all of the others do not even add up to half of CDS. The communication from Erica and the principal provide that extra level of customer service. We just can't say enough, great academics and well rounded school.

This school has been an incredible experience for my son. The preschool program was very well rounded. By the end of Pre-K my son had learned many skills, such as counting to 100, that put him ahead academically. The school also teaches from the whole child approach, meaning social, emotional, and wellness skills were are also taught. I think being taught those skills is what helped him because so strong academically. This year we have stayed for the Kindergarten program. While the class size is smaller, and my husband and I were hesitant about that, we now couldn't be happier we chose to stay. This kids receive extremely individualized plans. Some kids are more ahead than others academically and the teacher teaches to where each individual child is at, not where the class is at as a whole. It's fantastic. My son had the freedom to explore his interests, while still receiving a well rounded education. Social and emotional wellness is also taught in Kindergarten. The first day back to school they worked on handwriting exercises, based on a book they read. They wrote about how they were feeling. I think exercises like this help my son feel more relaxed and open to learning. The most important things I feel like my son needs in his early education years are that he is in a school environment where he feels loved, welcomed, relaxed, and secured. The principals, all staff members, his teachers, other students and parents at CDS, have created such an environment and as such, I feel it has really given my son the confidence to soar academically.
