We have adopted 2 dogs from Carrie at Fedwell Farm Rescue, and she provides a wonderful and caring environment. I would recommend this rescue, and if we look to adopt again I will be looking there first.

Carrie was great! We exchanged lots of emails before our meeting and she told me everything that I needed to know about Rusty (on the left). She made sure we were a good match for Rusty since he only has one eye, and he sure is. We love our Rusty so much, he was in really good condition when we got him. I highly recommend getting a rescue from Fedwell Farm Rescue.

Carrie is a phenomenal ambassador for rescue dogs. We adopted Hugo.( bloodhound ). Carrie was forthright with Hugo's issues. Hugo has adjusted to his new home very well. I would highly recommend Fedwell Animal Rescue.

We adopted a border collie cross from Farwell farms. It was a pleasant experience. The dog is healthy and the others looked healthy as well. I would recommend this rescue to others.

2 years ago, almost to the day, I adopted Django from Carrie. She let me know of his issues, including that he had been abused and labeled as a bite dog. She had a trainer work with him though prior to me adopting him. She traveled to Tucson to meet with me and provided me with all of his paperwork, pet insurance, and a bag of food. Django was scared of me at first, but hed been through hell for the first 2.5 years of his life. I was a stranger. But within a couple of hours, we knew we belonged to each other and I couldn't imagine life without him. Carrie does a fantastic job running her rescue and I have so much respect and admiration for her. She's saved so many dogs, as you can see on her petfinder page. She said if I ever needed to board Django, she'd be more than happy to watch him, and made me promise that if it didn't work, I'd give him back to her. Running a rescue is hard work, but she knows exactly what she is doing. If you adopt from Fedwell Farm, you can't go wrong.
