The gate guard was extremely rude for no apparent reason and never looked up from her phone while questioning me. The rest of the staff that I interacted with were very polite and friendly. This place is okay, but too posh to feel comfortable.

Played golf at Gainey Ranch golf club. Very nice course with 3 nine hole courses - we were sent out on the Dunes and the Arroyo nines. Played nicely. Much easier to score on the Dunes side, less trouble and easier greens to navigate. People in my foursome of different skill levels all managed to enjoy the round.

Large heated lap pool all year round tennis courts close by. The locker rooms are always very clean
