I brought in my guitar for repair due to several issues that had arisen. They not only replaced my pickup switch, but they actually discovered a broken wire in my pickup winding that was causing it to cut out and repaired it. Fortunately just a few winds in so no new pickup needed. Very impressed with these guys, they even rewired the push pull knobs allowing for a better tone. My Washburn A-20 is a special guitar for me and these guys brought it back to life. I highly recommend this shop. They are busy , so don't expect your repair completed overnight.

I'm fortunate to live/work just a few miles from this shop but I'd gladly travel a considerable distance for their honest and high quality work/knowledge of guitar repair/maintenance which is always at a very fair and reasonable cost. Randy and Dave are a couple of the best luthiers around and I implicitly trust their advice and skills whenever I leave one of my basses in their care. Nick is always friendly, helpful and a wealth of information. An easy-going place to stop in, talk shop, ask questions and see what sort of gem-like instruments and gear they have available to sample no matter what your level of playing experience.

I really hope that anybody that has read the not so positive reviews of this store also noticed that the root of the complaints are very personal in the since that someone feels a certain way because of some expectation that wasn’t met to there benefit. Because (in my opinion) there isn’t a better guitar store 200 miles in any direction. It is a smaller brick and mortar shop with a amazing variety of guitars, that is always changing, and cover a fairly large price range for most budgets. This is the kind of guitar store that you find that gem you’ve been looking for for years. This is the store you go to when your instrument isn’t performing the way you want it to. This is the place you can feel comfortable trying out gear at whatever experience level you are and feel encouraged by the staff and the quality instrument. I saw a comment where someone had mentioned that there prices on some of the used gear was too high and near what it would cost new. What they failed to mention is that every guitar I have ever picked up in this store is already set up nice and ready to play. The used guitars I’ve seen that they have had priced close to new have all had either some sort of high end upgrades, or was a special or limited edition model or was simply so barely used it’s basically a new guitar. If you took the time to read my review please do yourself the favor of checking these guys out, you’ll be very happy that you did. I just need to add one more important piece of information about my experiences here and that is that nobody is going to try to sell you a damn thing. They let the guitars sell themselves as they fall into the hands they belong in.

As a teenager, I used to regularly visit a large indie music store in Chicago. and while I could only afford to gaze, the staff never made me feel like I was a nuisance. Guitar Gallery rekindles that vibe, only BETTER! It's intimate enough so that informative convos with staff and other customers are typical and rewarding. Having a luthier onsite is so valuable. I brought my Rick 360 in for a wiring correction. Randy walked me through everything he inspected, repaired; took questions, offered clarity. We talked guitar brand pros & cons, and offered valuable perspective as I surveyed their always-changing Used inventory. He also shared \Breaking News\ that GG will be a new authorized D'Angelico guitar dealer. Even though they're a good 35 minutes from our Gilbert home, this is just a fun, worthwhile, downright therapeutic atmosphere to experience. If you want to experience a throwback to a simpler time in music, I'd recommend you take the trip and drink this place in!
