Ryan Engelberg earns his 1 star rating for charging me 400 for an unsuccessful incomplete root canal. Everyone of my friends, family members and colleagues has been shocked and disgusted to find out this man would charge 400 for a one hour attempted failed root canal. My general dentist had previously already done 95% of the root canal work and charged me 0.00 because he couldn't finish it, great guy! I understand root canals are not always a successful procedure and thats fine because if you can't do a successful job as a specialist you can't do it, not mad at that, but to charge someone 400 without insurance on the spot after you knowingly did not successfully reach the bottom of the root reveals this place seems to care more about money than their patients. I will warn as many people as possible for years to come, AVOID this place. I hope to save lots of patients from having to go to Scottsdale Endodontics PC and wasting their time and money for NOTHING! I went to this Endodontist experiencing extreme pain and I left in the same condition. He said he was writing me a prescription but I guess he forgot to do it because I was never given one. I have continued to live with this pain and now I need to get the tooth pulled.

Just had my follow up root canal, and even tho they are pretty horrible, Ryan Engelberg and staff make it as pleasant as possible!! Highly recommend them!

I have had two root canals done and both were good experiences. Everyone in the office is friendly and professional. They have been able to see me quickly. Dr. Engelberg listens and does careful testing. He explains everything and answers all of your questions.

I was one of the unfortunate people that needed an emergency Root Canal. I can’t begin to express my gratitude to Dr. Ryan Engelberg, his assistant and Gracie. They were wonderful about accommodating me with an appointment the same day I called to get me out of pain. My experience with this office from the phone call all the way to treatment was superb! I’ve been here twice this year. Dr. Engelberg is very skilled, and has done great work on my teeth. They’ve gotten me in quickly when I needed it, and their prices are very reasonable for often very expensive procedures. If your insurance is maxed out they’ll cut you a small break, and I’m almost positive you can use Care Credit if need be (Dr. Engelberg is listed on their site so I assume so).
