Came here for restaurant week. Also came to celebrate my aunts birthday. Complementary bread & butter. Different types of breads are in the basket. We got a 3 course meal. I got the field green salad, it was good. For entree I got the filet mignon with mashed potatoes. My family members got chicken & ribeye as well. We all asked for mashed potatoes and one person asked for creamy spinach. Also we got Brussels sprouts. The sides come in a boat and you all share. There was six of us so they brought 2 boats of mashed potatoes, one creamy spinach, and one Brussels sprouts. Everything was good. For dessert we had the option to get flourless espresso cake or creme brûlée. The chocolate cake tasted like dark chocolate and not my favorite but the creme brûlée is really good. Reservations are recommended.

The food is heavenly here. The salmon was so fresh and melt-in-your mouth tender it was unbelievable. Filet steak with lobster tails too. The green beans just right and very flavorful. Ahi tuna tartare was delicious. I can't say enough about everything....and the staff were charming as well. We go here every year around this time for my birthday.
Great service our Steak and Salmon were delicious. I enjoyed the Lobster Mac & Cheese. Wife loved the Caramelized French Onion Soup and Au Gratin Potatoes.
Capital Grill never lets you down. Always great food, the steaks melt in your mouth and are so tender! The service is just the same, polite, willing to go above and beyond to make sure it is much more then just a meal! A must visit so you can create your own outstanding experiences!
What did I think of The Capital Grille, hmmm? Well, it’s definitely for a certain demographic. There’s an elegant hunter’s lodge theme going on. Huge pictures of old white men. When I looked around, every table was occupied by old white men. The food was good, but not original/unique. The only saving grace was our server and a lovely chef came out to deliver one of the dishes. She was so pleasant and I wanted to spend more time with her. Dillon, our server, was really awesome. He was super attentive and I joked with him about how I stood out with my bright colors and dual space buns. He didn’t make me feel awkward. I did see what looked like the manager stop at various tables to chit-chat with patrons, but conveniently missed our table. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely imagine myself in a more hip, progressive establishment, so no offense taken. This dinner was for a friend’s birthday and they really love this place, so to each their own. The staff did a great job adorning the table with birthday stars and a hand-written note. If you have older, stuffy family coming to visit, then The Capital Grille is perfect.
