My wife wanted me to go to therapy but I was unsure what it was all about. Ms. Mandel made me comfortable in the first moment and walked me through the process. She is clearly smart and also funny and real. She has helped me understand my relationship from a different perspective which has made things at home much smoother. I appreciate the time she took with me to explain things plainly but did not tiptoe around. A very, very good therapist from what I've heard from other people.

I have never met such a committed professional. Alyssa is just there for me - always. She never makes me feel guilty or ashamed if I need help working something out. She is very smart but also does not take herself too seriously. I feel like I can tell her anything and she will not judge me even when I think I'm way out there. Great great therapist.

Its always a good sign when people leave a therapist's office smiling and that is what I see whenever I go to the mandel center. You will not find a more gifted therapist then Alyssa. She is a rare mix of experience and pure talent - she just gets it (and me). I have brought in some serious issues I suffer with and she does not flinch. I tell everyone how great my therapist is but I should probably stop because she is already so busy and I want to make sure she has time for me!

Even though we are in the middle of a global pandemic, Alyssa remains as committed as ever to helping me. She's been flexible and understanding of my fears. Where most therapists are not even answering their phone, Alyssa is there for me. I really appreciate it and I don't know how I would make it without her wisdom and light.
