I, too, was contacted the day before my procedure and told I needed to make a 100 copay. They claim to have contacted and confirmed with my insurance. I disputed it because I had already met my max with the insurance for the year. But I paid. I confirmed today (28 days later) with the EOB that my insurance paid in full, no copay was due from me. I will call them today, but per the other comments here, I'm also calling my credit card company and disputing the copay. On the day of the procedure, everything went well, the staff were friendly and professional. My poor rating is only on the billing/financial side of their operation.

This practice of getting money up front of your surgery is just plain wrong if you have a good insurance company. But I did this, and then found out they owe me over 500 back. My surgery was on 8/23 and I found out on 9/14 that they owed me money back. When I called that day, I was told they hadn't received the EOB yet and that it was a process. So I waited until 11/4 and called. I was told she just had her boss sign off on it. So today (11/21) I'm thinking about it and called again and was told at least a dozen times that \it was a process \. If the situation was reversed, I'd be paying them extra for the wait. Needless to say, I have not received this money, it's been 3 months and I don't know when I will get it. I asked for corporate 's number and they said they couldn't give that to a patient I will find a number, and I will let my doctor know the situation and I will never use them again.
By far the worst experience we have had with a outpatient surgical procedure. Just be aware that they will contact you 24hours prior to surgery to extort a large sum of money without any advance notice. They made me feel like my son wasn’t going to get the repair he needed if I didn’t have 3k by the morning. Made me feel sick to my stomach. My husband did get on the phone with them, they don’t have an exact number of what surgery will cost but they sure do have a precise number they want to charge you upfront.(Out of pocket expense is based on a percentage of the total cost) And we have top notch health insurance. I did call the week prior to check in and make sure we didn’t have any surprise bills to pay ahead of time, they confirmed we that we in fact did NOT. So you can guess how I felt receiving a call 24hrs prior to check-in.. I will never return here. Thanks for the most uncomfortable situation ever. I could’ve done without the extra anxiety.
Everything was great. My only concern is they were running late by 45 mins. Time is heavily planned around and it's hard to handle the necessities when you are thrown off. Other than that amazing
Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Thanks!
