Miro's statue is a sculpture made by Joan Miro. It is a bronze model of and is in the Milwaukee Art Museum Collection and is right next to the Chicago Temple. There is an S shaped bench behind dedicated to all those whose lives were changed due to the tragic fire of October 17, 2003 here too. The Chicago temple is very beautiful and one of the masterpiece building architectures too. There are pictures marking some of the historic events in Chicago right next to Miro's Statue on the temple wall - make sure you watch out for this as it is easy to miss

Kind of hidden in front of Picasso's, but not to be missed! Catalan artist Joan Miró was one of the greatest of the 20th century, truly a gem!
The sculpture is great but it seems like it's stuck in a random spot. I would've liked to have seen it placed in an area with more open space around it, so it could be appreciated by more people.
I like public art displayed in the streets and squares. This construction has small open space surrounding. Definitely worth visit if one is looking for public artwork in downtown Chicago or is just walking by.
Wonderful statue, nice area....
