I have had Sea Tow for 20 years and used them twice. Once with the boat trailer, they were there within the hour to bring me a new tire. This past weekend I had to have a tow while in the Keys. The captain was very knowledgeable, professional and a very nice person. Without my membership the tow would have been 900 but since I am a member it cost me nothing. My advice to you is go get a Sea Tow membership, you wont regret it. Thank you Sea Tow!

In ever used SeaTow Islamorada,but I had a bad experiance with the Sea Tow Key Largo franchise. Last year I had an incident where my pod drive got stuck on a coral reef. I could not dislodge the vessels so I called Sea Tow (I have a policy with them ). With in 20 minutes they arrived and were able to attach a lines to my bow and dislodge my boat. I was towed to a nearby marina 1/2 mile away. The whole operation took less than one hour. The problem started when they submitted a bill to my insurance carrier for 187,000. They stated that this was a salvage not a tow, and under maritime law they were entitled to the value of the boat. My boat was never in danger of sinking, nor was it disabled.My insurance company eventually settled and paid Sea Tow (Key Largo) 106,000. My insurance premium has now doubles.
They are pirates! The Capitan stopped in the middle of nowhere and demanded 300 cash or he was instructed to leave us.... and we are members!
