I canceled my membership in January. I'm still being billed! I can't get a return call and my emails go un answered. My husband canceled his membership and ended up going to his bank with his cancellation letter to have the bank stop the payment. I didn't get a letter when I canceled because they have management call and ask why you are leaving. Needless to say I never got a call and they are still billing me. A complaint has been filed with the better business bureau

Have you been to this fitness center? Shame on you if you haven't and live within 50 miles. We live in Kittery, ME and make the drive 3-4x a week and it is BEYOND worth it. It astounds all my friends and I each time we walk in. Literally every time. Best days are my Seabrook gym days. First off, the super friendly no bullcrap \down to earth\ staff who are about as real \salt of the earth\ type people as you could ever hope for in a local business. Every person we have talked to here has something special to give both to the club and society as a whole. Blessed to have them especially during this covid crisis working around the clock after hours for the members. The staff run a Seabrook focused FB page by themselves on the side out of pure passion and its awesome to behold their weekly updates. Second, the grand scale of space, equipment and attention to detail. Sure, there is always room for improvement.....especially in a fitness center, but lets be real here. You can do it ALL at SSC Atlantic in Seabrook, NH and then some. Third, the culture is 10/10. Young. Old. Left. Right. Power lifter. Cross Fitter. Group fitness. It's all here and in a classic style gym that is massive. Another reviewer said this was the \MECCA\ of New England. They nailed it. This place is truly incredible for anyone who loves gyms. Can't say enough. Tonight I literally counted 47 spray bottles to clean and at least 20 rolls of paper towels. 9 bottles of hand sanitzer gel in the lobby (bigger than many gyms in and of itself). New foot steps so you don't even have to touch the bathroom doors. How can anyone complain about this business? WOW. These people mean business....serious business. Do yourself a favor and join for a few months...you will never look back.
Brian could use a course in customer service. Everyone has been working out at home for months now, probably a good time to step it up...not carry around an arrogant attitude. Tons of options for gyms, no need to deal with that. Edit-Thank you for the response. I can assure you I am reviewing the right gym. I started my membership at your now closed Greenleaf location, the one that was falling apart, where you collected \equipment fees\ but had no intention of repairing equipment because you were arguing with the landlord... I understand Brian might have had a bad day and everyone is human. Totally get it. However, this is not the first time Brian has acted like this. As to your COVID comments, you are correct, the gym experience will not be the same as pre COVID. That is precisely why I wrote you a review about Brian's attitude. Thanks again for the reply. At the end of day I do not want to argue with you, I only wanted to provide you feedback...something you have a hard time receiving. I was not paying because my girlfriend was working for you. I did not realize I was supposed to reduce my expectations because of this. Also, I have been been to every one of your properties (Greenleaf closed, Great bay is done with your antics, West End already falling apart and Seabrook your only \gym\). I really do wish you, your staff, and your small business well during this pandemic. However, I find it important to point out, you cancelled my membership because of my review. This place is awesome!! I usually hit the gym around 10am or so. Perfect time of the day to go. Morning crowd is gone. Great equipment, Amazing staff, juice bar completely stocked with protein and other pre and post workout goodies. Reasonably priced. Love this place.
Great staff. Great managers. Great equipment and classes. Had to laugh at some of these posts about people complaining when cancelling. How in 2019 anyone thinks they can cancel a gym without paying another billing cycle is beyond me. What are you? 5 years old? Did you read your contract when you joined? If not, YOUR fault. This is the best gym in NH.
