This was my first riding stable I went to when I moved to Virginia. Everyone is kind and they teach you what you want to learn. All the horses are very sweet and very easy to get attached to. When I first got to Yorktown, everyone was extremely kind and they helped me with whatever I needed help with. It is an amazing boarding stable and I definitely recommend it! Absolutely the best stable I could ever go to!
Yorktown has been great to me and my family. There are some things that need work but no business is perfect.
Stopped by Yorktown Stables the other day, as I was browsing for a new stable to start riding again. Kristen, the owner, kindly greeted me and let me meet few of their horses, which were beautiful BTW! They are in the process of building a HUGE new facility. I'm looking forward to starting lessons and seeing this new facility! Thanks again!
Riding at Yorktown Stables has been one of the best experiences of my life. I am an adult rider. I had previous equestrian experience as a child, including owning two horses, but had gotten away from the sport. I happened to see a Groupon for the facility and went for my first lesson. The staff was professional and safety was of the utmost importance. I have been riding with them for over three years now and maintain a partial lease on a horse through their facility. Give them a try and talk to the staff about your needs and goals. They will build a plan that is right for you! BEST EQUESTRIAN FACILITY ON THE PENINSULA!!!
