Always enjoy a walk on the boardwalk, off season it's very calming, a little chilly but gorgeous

Always have a great time. Rides are open in the afternoon. Yes you can get beer and mixed drinks in some places. Most of the stores, games and eateries are open. They have added beach cabana rentals at the south end of the boardwalk along with a large are with mixed drink vendors that you go into with a wrist band and purchase drinks. Don't forget your ID! The bathrooms are attended and cleaned regularly. Enjoy!

Love seaside heights boardwalk. I was at the beach in Seaside heights about 2 weeks ago. I'm 6 feet 2 inches tall. I couldn't believe I'm in the water up to my shoulders and was able to see my feet. That is the truth. I love it there. It's safe and fun. I leave my chair to go to the boardwalk and get a delicious Midway Italian Sausage hero with peppers and Onions ...... I LOVE IT!! Because of Covid-19 there is dining outside on the boardwalk at a few popular restaurants. Actually I like that better than being inside. It's really nice. The rides are a lot of fun too!

The shore has always been one of my most favorite places to go. There's something for everyone down here, whether you just come for a day or stay a few days, weekend, or for the week. Since it's offseason, there weren't that many people there, most places aside from restaurants and arcade closed. Still, it makes for a relaxing walk on the boardwalk, to get a glimpse at the Atlantic Ocean. Plenty of sweet cute dogs here, too, since they're not banned from the boardwalk during offseason. I got some great pics this year, from spring to now. Aside from being exceptionally foggy today, a visit to the shore is never disappointing.

Stopped for lunch the day after labor day on our way home. Had to have Marucas tomato pie. Waited ten minutes cause for some reason there wasn't any ready at lunchtime. But...worth the wait. Boardwalk pretty empty and stuff was closed but enjoyed walking the boards and smelling the ocean air. Don't forget a Khors twist before leaving!
