Bang Bang has been a go to spot for our family since they opened. Being the parents of young children, my husband and I are often hesitant to go to restaurants with the whole family in tow. We have always been made to feel welcomed with the kids at Bang Bang. This is also a great date night spot with delicious margaritas! During the pandemic we get take out at least once a month from here, even though we live in a further neighborhood now, it’s worth the drive! Mama’s tacos are a craving at my house!

First time getting food from Bang Bang and we got their SRW special, the wings, and the vegan Mac and cheese. We got it all for takeout. So cannot speak to their full Covid precautions, but they did have outdoor dining and all the staff I could see were wearing masks; indoor seating was not permitted due to gov’t mandate. We were very happy with all the food. My wife really enjoyed the taquito that was the first dish of the SRW meal, they had a good crunch, good flavor and the sauce abs beans were very flavorful. The vegan Mac and cheese was excellent and honestly hard to believe it was vegan and not using real cheese. The wings were also good, I will say the sweet wings were actually better than the spicy. Also, by the time we got it home they were not super hot and crispy anymore. The duck leg main from the SRW deal was also very good as was the sauce. We were not totally able to see the Brussels sprouts as part of that dish, but it was still very good. Lastly, the avocado ice cream was good too. Would consider going back to this place and trying other parts of their menu.

The food and service are first-rate. It’s laid back, casual and belongs on everyone’s short list. Their use of chilies is on a another level. Reminds me of Santa Fe. I don’t live close by, but make the journey every chance I get. Not many restaurants leave that type of impression. This place is a rare gem.

Love this neighborhood gem! Even though their New Mexican fare is wonderful, I always come back to the hatch chile burger. Always cooked perfectly with a bit of a kick...yum! Great drinks and solid kids menu too.

My wife and I loved this place and will definitely be back. The space was really quaint and we'll decorated. It had a nice outdoor patio area (dog friendly outside too, it looked like), and the inside seemed pretty cozy with the fireplace. The service we had was also very prompt and friendly. But the real star is obviously the food you get here. We had the chip trio sampler, enchiladas, and the burrito, and everything we had was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. We definitely went home with left overs. The hatch chile chicken and sauce takes all the food to the next level. Highly highly recommend.
