I took a medical leave and couldn't work. Not one time showed concern for me except a letter in the mail stating you owe money. There're a lot of good workers and i hope the best for them . Give the power back to the workers for they are the ones that should be in charge.. I strongly believe if i put one dollar in i better get my whole dollar back with interest!!

I noticed a great deal of money going to this group , How ever they say they have zero control of job placement ! Odd , why do they get money? At the ship yards a single man controls your fate , beware of any type of emergency that may happens or bewarw if he (she) doesnt lime you or it's lay off or no call for you .. Time for a change I'd say ! Another thing is when work does come your way be ready to work 7days a week 12 plus hours a day this can go on for a month and more . The union was created to stop laborers from abuse to keep them from becoming slaves, with poor work condition and work hours that with zero days off. Seems as tho they have become the beast they were protecting us against .. another example of what happens to people given powerful positions !

Unions are the best way for the working class to get a fair shake. Without membership in a Union you have no say, no protection, and lesser benefits. I see Union members complain about the Union, and little do they realize that THEY ARE the Union. So, all they are complaining about is that they themselves are letting themselves down by not participating in Union business and activities. Anyone who complains about Unions but works a Union job needs to be asked one simple question....why are you working a Union job if they are worse than non-union? Hypocrisy! When was the last time these individuals came to a Union meeting? Its on par with bitching about the government/president and how they run things, but then when it comes time to vote they abstain. If you dont participate, you have no right to complain about how \The Union\ runs things, because YOU are the Union!
