The food here is delicious! I got the vegetarian combination, and every thing was excellent. They gave me a generous serving of injera as well.

Every time I've eaten at Cafe Salem has been completely delightful. I love all of the workers there. Food is out of this world. Have been waiting to go there safely with covid and colder weather days approaching. Went tonight and sat outside. It was spaced out and the experience was as great as always. The combination plates are a perfect variety for 2 people and the tea is so comforting, especially on a chilly day.
BEST ETHIOPIAN IN SEATTLE (and I have tried many, many, places) HANDS DOWN. So grateful for this food and the lovely people that make it happen. The whole experience feels so nourishing.

My husband and I drive from Redmond for takeout here and we're never disappointed. Pre-COVID, we'd also bring out of town guests here. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. We're addicted to the sourdough bread and the veggie sides. The portions are really generous and it's the ultimate comfort food. Can't wait to visit again.
