This place gets packed. The dim sum was great. Service was fast despite the crowds. We ordered the soup dumplings, bbq pork buns, su mai and the pot stickers. The pot stickers are the only item I didn't like. The flavor was off.

Food check report: Came back a year later for "QA",ended up visiting 2X in 12hrs. Re-affirmed consistency with kidney congee and wonton noodles from a year ago, and tried the fishball combo the 2nd day... Surprised by the springiness of them balls, as is the quality choice of ingredients in everything else. Again, if the chef is literally sweating in the kitchen, like the ones in my hometown Canton back in the days, it just tells me my humble 50% tip was worth every penny. Just felt compelled to plug this simple local joint. Lastly, I think the simple goodness is at least due in part to their attitudes towards life (which is very much like the Seattle vibe) that they decorate the walls with.

The best noodle soup in the ID! The wontons are light and silky and delicious while the broth will cure anything.

My favorite wanton house in the international district. This noodle house has been around forever and has always provided good cheap noodles! Great for when you are on a budget
