My husband and I have been members of this church for many years. We have had the opportunity to participate in Sunday School, the annual Vacation Bible School, monthly quilting group, and so many other areas of outreach - 1,000 socks, three tiny houses, food donations to the Ballard Food Bank, many years of sponsoring girls of the Maasai tribe in Africa to go to school and so much more. Our worship is meaningful. We have both vocal and bell choirs. We have fun events. We have formed lasting and deep relationships with others in our congregation. We welcome every child of God to join us.

What a great church community! This church is the perfect blend of traditional liturgical and musical elements, while embracing modern and progressive values. I am grateful to be able to worship in a place that truly welcomes everyone and loves people for who they are. I feel that I can be me at MLC...I don't have to put on a \Sunday Self\ to fit in. Plus, the sanctuary is so beautiful! It draws you in right away.

Our family loved our time at MLC and, while we've found a great church in Tokyo, we miss our MLC family. Great church for those who are thinkers/questioners as I have had many a great conversation with the Pastor... there are also plenty of ways to get involved/serve and feel connected with the community. Also, with having small kids, we always felt welcomed and Sundays were never a stressful experience. Highly recommended!
