With making such a big investment of adding a second floor addition to our one-story house, we couldn't rely on anyone who we didn't feel would be responsive or accountable. I received prompt responses 100% of the time to any question / concern throughout the project. Great customer service. Derek and Ross were a pleasure to work with and really took our goals to heart when managing the job.
I recently did a 4-month full kitchen and exterior remodel with Model Remodel and am already dreaming of what my next project with them will be. I had some bad experiences with past remodel projects so I was worried about the process for such a big project but Model Remodel made it easy and honestly really enjoyable. I really liked the Model Remodel team that was on site everyday (Rohn and Steve are the BEST and I still miss seeing them). The team in the office was so kind, patient and smart. The most important part was that they were all empathetic and funny humans. It wasn't just a transactional project, I felt like they really cared about my project like it was their own. Plus the quality of the work still blows me away every time I use my new kitchen.
Hope to God that this developer does not buy a vacant lot in your neighborhood! They built a monstrous two story house 10 feet from my back deck. It could not be more obtrusive or eye in the sky like. All my sunlight and privacy has vanished. The lot is large enough that they could have set the house back further so as not to interfere with my view so much. They purport to be environmentally conscious and green. From my point of view, the only environment they are conscious of is the inside of their wallet and the only green they are concerned with is money. Do not expect any help from the city either as they are only concerned with the money they are getting from the permits. The only person who is going to care is you.
Great general contractor for your remodel project. I work with them often. They have great communication and consistently excellent work. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
