I had a horrible customer experience with PSF Mechanical and urge you to reconsider working with them in the future. When inquiring about the cost of the diagnosis, they simply quoted 150/hour during regular hours or 215/hour during overtime. I made the appointment during regular hours the following week. The technician came and was here for a total of 20 minutes to diagnose the issue. A few days later, I received a bill for 430! The issue that I had was that there was a 2-hour minimum for the diagnosis (which was never disclosed to me). They also had charged me a 75 \truck fee\ for mileage/gas (also not disclosed) as well as a 15 environmental fee (also not disclosed but is WA-mandated, so understood). I spoke with the sales rep to understand where these costs came from. The sales rep was extremely rude and condescending and retorted it was not the company's responsibility to share all costs upfront. She said it was my responsibility as a consumer to ask specifically whether there is anything else PSF could potentially charge for. She also stated that I should know this as it's an industry standard. My issue was not with the actual costs of the diagnosis as I understand that I am paying for a service. I was appalled at the lack of transparency and terrible customer experience and I wanted to share this with everyone.
