Local & Professional. The service you get here is great - yes, they can be busy, but they always seem to go above and beyond. It's not a place you visit often, but over the years I've never regretted dealign with them. What I appreciate the most - as my gear needs change, I've been able to return a handful of times with minor questions or tweaks on past purchases, and they've always been happy to help.

Changing my review due to a thoughtful and fair response from ownership. I understand not all stock can be stored on site and appreciate you speaking about the install experience. Just a thought: I was really looking forward to seeing a tent when I went in. I would've settled for a sales experience, even a virtual one. Perhaps you have an option to just show customers what tents you sell and take them through a virtual click through on a website, explaining the pros and cons of each tent. I got a demo from a customer in your parking lot that told me all about her tent that was not offered at Rack and Road. Just my two cents. Appreciate your response. Original review: Rack and road should be called racket and road. It's extremely easy to install a rack. They put the fear of God in you like your skis are going to come flying off your car. I've installed every rack I've bought from Amazon or Craigslist following directions and have had perfect results. Also disappointed they don't carry much stock to see the products ahead of time. If I'm buying a 3500 dollar tent, I'd like to see it beforehand.

I highly recommend the Tack n Road store in Seattle. They were patient in helping me find the best hitch and swing arm to buy for my electric bikes. I will go there again if the need arises in the future.
