Robert Half contacted me for a role after finding me on LinkedIn. In the end, after three rounds of interviews, I did not get the role. Not a problem, however I am left picking up the pieces at my current employer. All interviews were scheduled during working hours, but the last one was scheduled the day before, after everyone had left for the day. As a result, I was not able to arrange coverage for the following morning. This put me on thin ice with three absences in two weeks and no notice for my last one. To top it off, my company does not allow management to do references. My boss kindly said he would do it as a favor however he was going to be out of the country. I gave my recruiter his information and advised he would need to call outside of business hours due to the time change. When he returned, he let me know they left messages in the middle of the night and not so kindly insisted that they could only speak to him during their business hours. That meant talking to them at 3 in the morning. Now not only am I in trouble at my current workplace, but he will not be a reference in the future. Robert Half did a tremendous amount of damage when they were the ones to seek me out. All I can say is be careful giving out your current employer’s information. They can do damage and do not care in the end! I will now have to delay my job search while I rebuild at my current employer and I am down the most important reference I have.

I will never work with this team ever again. I come from the staffing industry and it is EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING to see the way they treat clients who are paying a pretty penny for their temps. Their communication skills are awful and they don't take the blame for their faults nor do they care about customer retention. DO NOT USE!! There are plenty of other, more competent agencies out there.

How is it possible that you haven’t shut down your services in Seattle. It’s apparent that your only concern is money and not of those who are employed by you. To even think that those who are employed by you are relying on your judgement should be at fault in thinking that you have morals and that your concerns for the employees that work for you don’t matter at all.
