I receive an email to my spam folder that looked suspicious at first but i decided to Google the name and contacted the phone number and as it turns out, the email was indeed sent by them and the gentleman I spoke with was very courteous and answered all my questions. He was also very receptive to my various recommendations contacting future plaintiffs and defendants in lawsuits including more clearly outlining the reason for the email as well as sending email from a company website domain instead of a private email account. I also recommended the company offer contact information within that email as well. The reason I received this email was because I was illegally named a defendant in a lawsuit out of State but I did list my email address with the King County e file system. It was explained to me that local rules govern court reporters to contact the defendants to offer the court transcripts for a fee. I am not a lawyer so I cannot verify that information is correct but the reason for this review is to ensure that others know that this business was in fact responsive, courteous and helpful to my inquiry.
