Lisa is absolutely dialed in to the sailing community in Seattle. From first time on the boat level of newness to elevating your spinnaker set and racing tactics, she's got not only knowledge, but the patience and communication skills to help you master them. She's an exceptional teacher, patient, and will do her best to show you just how awesome sailing is (rain or shine, wind or no wind).

I did several sailing sessions with Lisa and loved every minute of it. She's incredibly patient and knowledgeable, both qualities that are essential for teaching others. Highly recommend her!

I have been out on sailboats with friends over the past few years but did not have the confidence to do much because everyone else on the boat had 30 plus years of sailing experience. It was intimidating and made me pretty passive. I tended to just focus on bringing food and beverages and being a passenger rather than active crew. Seattle has a very strong women's sailing community and I decided I wanted to jump in and learn in a supportive environment from an instructor who is well regarded for her patience and humor. Lisa is fantastic! She got everyone involved and followed up with tools to help us continue our learning. I look forward to continuing my training with her to fully immerse myself, get off the sidelines (or in this case the galley) and enjoy the sport!

My first time sailing was a great learning experience. Lisa made it exciting and offered to challenge us when we were ready. She explained everything with familiar terms and then taught us sailing terms while on the water. Can't wait to take another class!
