An event space that has a nice balance of a rustic and industrial feel with a garage door to open on nice days. I photographed a wedding there and the service of the staff there was prompt. Ashley, the venue manager did a wonderful job of running the event free of hiccups. The food (tacos) was delicious and they made sure there were accommodations for people with varying dietary restrictions. Overall, I loved photographing at this hidden gem in Capitol Hill and would love to go back!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Sole Repair in August this year. We loved it from the second we looked at it, and the venue, food, staff and atmosphere did not disappoint on the day. We had 75 guests with a buffet dinner and there was plenty of space for dancing, seating and tables. The food was spectacular, we got so many amazing comments, the staff serving drinks were efficient and super pleasant. Although everything was amazing the shining star of Sole Repair is Katie. We planned our Seattle wedding from Boston and working with Katie was THE BEST experience it was like chatting to a friend, effortless, easy and so much fun. She answered all our emails promptly and thoroughly, she was there whenever we needed her, she helped us with decorations and co-ordinating vendors and with our one off requests. She is kind, friendly and approachable which is exactly want you need on your wedding day, she was always smiling and it was a great comfort knowing she had everything under control. We had the best day of our lives at Sole Repair and could not recommend it more!
My husband and I had the most gorgeous, intentional and intimate April 1st wedding ceremony! It truly was the most fun day ever, and our 30-40 of our closest friends tend to agree. The Sole Repair Shop was my number one choice when it came to selecting a venue as I instantly fell in love with its charm; strung Edison bulb lighting, the rustic concrete floor, the loft with a large perfectly frosted glass window and clean white walls, not to mention the wooden thatch focal wall. Yummy! It was everything we wanted and more. We had an open bar with the most gregarious and kind bartenders, seriously, our guests loved our bartender so much that everyone was on a first name basis by the end of the night. Quinn’s catered our event by serving pretzels and mustard during cocktail hour and an assortment of sliders and fries for dinner— and it was all seriously delicious! The space felt absolutely flawless in size for our group. It was cozy enough to hear without microphones but spacious enough that we felt far from boxed in and limited in movement. Lastly, working with Ashley (the venue event coordinator) in the months prior to the event was total bliss. She was accessible, approachable, reassuring, communicative and a joy to work with! I can’t say it enough, we LOVE Sole Repair and couldn’t have picked a better location even if we tried!
We absolutely loved our wedding at Sole Repair Shop back in June. Ashley was so lovely and helpful with answering all of our questions promptly, meeting up, working with us for all the day-of and morning-after logistics, and generally guiding us through the process so it always felt very relaxed. We couldn't imagine a better venue coordinator. We loved the intimate feel of Sole Repair Shop for our ceremony and reception of about 70 guests. During the ceremony we had seating downstairs and standing area upstairs, and Ashley was quick to change the setup between the ceremony and reception. During our reception we had seating upstairs and food, cocktail tables, and dancing downstairs. We thought it worked great! The party was crazy downstairs and then guests could head upstairs to relax at tables and in the little lounge area. The bartenders were INCREDIBLE -- months later people are still telling me how awesome they were, both in friendliness and making amazing cocktails. We feel so happy thinking back on our wedding day, with the venue and the people working there so vital in making everything go smoothly. We would highly recommend Sole Repair Shop to others as an excellent and convenient venue for any party! Thank you guys so much!
We are so glad we had our wedding here! Such a fun time! They were really helpful in getting the details of our menu sorted out and figuring out some logistics on the big day. Worth every penny!
