This is the best experience I’ve had with an Optometrist. He explained every test and result in a way that I could understand. He is thorough, kind and professional.

The best eye health and prescription care, period. Dr. Campbell is a knowledgeable, personable professional who invests the time, money, and energy into bringing top-notch medical diagnostics to your annual exam. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. 5 years and counting ...
Always a pleasant experience. Very Friendly staff and Dr. Campbell is very knowledgeable and so passionate about taking care of his patients and providing a thorough exam. He is incredibly friendly and never rushes you through the appointment. He wants to make sure you are comfortable and wants to help keep not only your eyes healthy but your overall health. It is honestly the only time I don't dread going to a doctor's appointment. Can't say enough also how wonderful his staff is, just a genuinely nice and accommodating group. Highly recommend Spex if you are looking for a honest, thorough and comfortable experience.
Amazing! Beat eye exam I have ever had. The doctor is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He listened to me and found a solution that works for my eyes. Very happy and pleased. 100% recommended!
I have been going to Spex a very long time along with the rest of my family. I have always really enjoyed Dr. Campbell and had a great experience at Spex until recently. I went to see him to get a new prescription. He not only ignored the fact that I asked for a lens that were affordable and he could not figure out what strength of lens I needed. He first gave me a lens that was too strong then he ordered the incorrect trial lenses. He then wrote me a prescription after disregarding my concerns with the strength he prescribed me, which ended up being wrong again. It was a huge waste because I also ordered 2 boxes contacts for the prescription he wrote which was once again wrong. I ended up flying back to NY and going to someone here. They figured out the prescription strength in one appointment and listened to my concerns about price instead of pushing the most expensive lenses on me. After wasting money on an exam, contact lenses and driving back and forth to Spex I called to be reimbursed. I figured he would do me the kindness in doing so since one he never gave me the correct prescription, and my family and I have been seeing him for years. I received no call back for weeks, and no reimbursement because he felt he had not enough time. Since when do you need multiple appointments to get a prescription? I have three incorrect prescriptions from him. On top of that he mentioned I needed two sets of contact prescriptions... one for driving and one for every day? That is ridiculous. Do not waste your money unless you are willing to put in multiple weeks of appointments.
