I had a sinkhole in my driveway. Swope Excavation was very responsive and got the job done quickly. I had several companies provide bids. Others were 2 to over 4 times higher in cost and only difference was that the others were going to put a patch of pavement over where the sinkhole was.

Unfortunately, I emailed an inquiry to this company for a couple of my clients in the City of Seattle, and never heard back. I called today, got an immediate answer on the phone and upon explaining that I am a 3rd party feasibility company (preparing a bid report for this client) - that he would not help me \sounds like a lot of work that I won't get paid for\ ... Direct quote. I presume he didn't get to where he is by ignoring people who need bids to price out their construction costs. I now understand this is why MANY companies have neglected to contact me back, but I am unable to understand why business like this manage to stay open by 'selecting' who they work with and not offering to prepare bids for potential clients.
Excellent family business and they have always provided timely service and high quality work.
