We have been taking classes here for the last five years between two kiddos. It's such a lovely place. The staff is genuinely interested in your child and their well being. They are great at challenging your child and meeting them at their level. It's s fun, safe place to burn off some energy and work on gross motor skills at the same time. They are flexible in their make-up classes and cancellations, which is so great for parents! Teacher Allison and Teacher Lars have been our favorites over the years! Thank you, Little Gym!
This is probably the best roller hockey place in the East Bay. The rink is in good condition and the floor is kept reasonably clean. I've played in Bladium leagues since the original location opened in Seattle long, long ago. When I lived in Alameda I also was a member of the gym. It was well maintained, never too crowded, and offered early spin classes with good instructors that I could get to before going to work.
It’s been a while since we have gone to this place, but I am considering driving way out of my way to come back. The children are taught the importance of taking turns and modeled the skills they need before practicing. It worked much better than some other places that we have now tried -after moving away from downtown. I’m so disappointed in some of the other gymnastics gyms south of the city. I feel like there were a lot more skills that came from little gym than I even realized at the time.
This place has given my son so much confidence. I love the staff teachers Mac, Sofie and Sara. Tons of patience and great at what they do
I love bringing my daughter hear for the following reasons: Schedule Flexibility - as long as there are openings you child can start the class anytime of the year. Excused absence "make-up" classes are also easy to schedule or push. Payment Options - enroll early for a discount, pay monthly or just twice for a steeper discount. Refunds - if you need to pull your kid from class for any reason, moving, lost your job, whatever, you can get the money back for all future classes. Staff - Teacher Alyson, Lars, Meredith and Mack are amazing! They really want the kids to have fun and improve their skills and confidence. My kid started when she was 3 and is turning 4 now. We enrolled for summer and fall and couldn't be happier!
We really love this place. So friendly, fun, and open. Love being able to watch my kid overcome fears and have so much fun! Lars is the best as well as Allison, Mack, Meredith, Tiana, etc!
Lars was extremely patient with my young granddaughter who had some trouble following directions. She had such a good time she didn't want to leave. Signed her up for ten weeks of classes.
