This was the cutest bookstore I have ever been to. There were cats laying on books. Books piled around. I didn't think it was bad at all. In fact it looked like a library to me. Cozy, quiet, and pleasant staff. The cats were fun to look at and pet as well! I didn't buy anything that day, I had never been inside and was checking it out. I recommend it. They had so many different topics. If you are LGBTQ they have a section taller than I was. They had lots of fiction and nonfiction...so many. Go take a peek and pet a cat!

SUCH a lovely book shops! Thousands and thousands of options, and they home a small group of kitties! The owner is very knowledgeable and 100% willing to talk about books all day, lol!

If you need a book, look here first. Twice Sold is an institution on the hill and has been around for ages. It's a reminder of the old seattle: quirky and smart and ok, a little covered in cat hair, but so what? You'll leave with at least two books you didn't know you needed. Bonus: as of Jan 2021 there are kittens!

This is a really good bookstore with a wide variety of books. There is a reason why it is still in business after all these tech, financial changes. I've been a customer since 2004 and nothing changed here.

I always get wonderful customer service! Its fun looking for the kittens and cats curled up somewhere in the maze of endless new and used books.
