Almost every escalator dysfunctional today. Disgraceful show for people visiting Seattle.
Easy location to get to, A little hidden, but right near downtown and Pike place. Lots to do within .4miles pretty clean, and relatively safe. A good jump off point for being in the mix of what Seattle has to offer.
It's all good Not a Settleite and find words on stairs, buildings, sidewalks and noticed the coffe on the escalator exiting University St Station traveling North. didn't happen this trip !
This is a major transfer terminal to other destinations via light rail/bus. It's situated in downtown Seattle, which essentially has all major landmarks in close proximity to each other: banks, tech companies, shopping complexes, and etc. The Seattle Symphony is situated NW of this station on 2nd Ave and is a good marker for tourists to get around downtown Seattle.
