Vulcan Inc has immediately deleted the review tab on Facebook for us sending negative reviews about ignoring our voices for coalition artists and Seattle ACED groups! They have no right to block our negative reviews and they're destroying our art community! Unacceptable! They became fraud demons that'll get struck by a fantasyanian blue lightning! They'll get striked down by the mighty rap god Fantasy A for destroying Seattle neighborhoods and poison low-income peoples' minds. I'll keep putting up my posters and they'll get stressed out. Listen to what Fantasy A says and we'll do this the hard way! Stop ignoring us and be respectful to our art community!

vulcan killed the actual diversity of seattle. Pushing out black and brown folks for the sake of \progress\. For vulcan progress means making way for people with lots of money so that they themselves can profit off of these folks with money. The wealthiest have ruined seattle and created so much heartbreak for those raised here, and for whose land it belongs to. Stolen Duwamish, Suquamish, and Muckleshoot land.

VULCAN INC. TOOK DOWN THEIR REVIEW TAB ON FACEBOOK TO AVOID HAVING TO ENGAGE WITH THE COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY THEIR NEW DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS - HERE IS MY REVIEW ONCE AGAIN: Vulcan Inc. tosses shallow and empty scraps to the artists of the communities that they are actively displacing. It’s all a strategic and calculated dance for the press and cameras, yet they give themselves a hypocritical pat on the back, knowing damn well that their tendrils choke the life and culture out of this beautiful and diverse city. They remain superficial with their promises, and continue to ignore the work of the Seattle Artist Coalition for Equitable Development - which hopes to diminish the severity of displacement happening in the Promenade and Yesler Terrace developments. ACED is asking that funds be allocated to provide for these cultural hubs, in ways that help the communities that have historically populated these sectors of the city. ACED is an organization fighting to let the most vulnerable in this city be heard, offering data-driven solutions starting from the bottom up, yet without Paul Allen’s response, this dialogue cannot begin to take place. Vulcan Inc. may have a great public perception, yet peel back the philanthropic front they wear, and you’ll see that beneath this sea of ocean photos and public statements, Vulcan steadily turns the cogs of the gentrification machine that is causing the disappearance of Seattle itself. If Paul Allen refuses to listen to community members about the issues they have with new development projects, then who does Vulcan truly represent and speak for? Money talks, so we’ve been put on hold for too long while you two chat it up, waiting patiently for you to pick up the line and speak.

It is unfortunate that a company that proclaims to value community and to embrace cultural stewardship is completely ignoring the respectful request from youth, artists, and people of color for dialogue. This behavior should be amended immediately.
