Went with a friend who has a membership and I had to pay 25 for a single day guest pass.. I mean, we’re talking about a health club in West Seattle, not an Equinox in West Village. Pretty ridiculous price. Aside from that, it’s an ok gym. They have all the hammer strength machines, which is nice.

Impossible to cancel your membership. I already expect to jump through hoops when trying to cancel gym memberships but this has got to be the worse of all gyms. Called them. Can’t cancel (expected). Sent a written mail with postage and two months later they are still charging me. Called them again and they made me email someone. So I emailed them with a date stamped photo of my written notice. They still refuse to cancel my subscription until I show them proof that the mail arrived at their building. Given I emailed them a photo of my written notice (date stamped), they could have canceled it right there. Instead they are arguing that I have to prove that my letter actually reached their office. So now I have to dispute through my credit card. Terrible service.

I'm disappointed by the quality of customer service this gym has for their customers. I want to support a local business, but it's hard when they can't be professional and friendly. Since the Pandemic, I've not been in the gym. I've put my account on hold. Then when the Gov. Ige announced that it's safe to open gyms, they open but I was not notified about that until I saw that my account has been billed. Even after informing them that I am not coming into the gym in 2020. I asked for a refund, they said no. Now that I have moved out of the state, I emailed to cancel and they want a physical paper. I asked if I can cancel over the phone to avoid being billed again. Exact words from their VP of Operations, Dan, \No for obvious reason we need a paper trail. Just put a stamp on a letter if you don't want to come in.\ #1) which part of I am out of state that is not clear? #2) we live in 2021, what is this madness of writing a letter in to cancel? #3) I have already been billed for months that I did not come into the gym and they won't refund my fees. And this level of courtesy? Seriously?

I'm sorry but you would think living a healthy lifestyle would also make you want to live a happy lifestyle. Not here! Everyone is so rude! Club goer's and Club employees alike. Very, very disappointed!! I guess they're all angry cause their hungry or something. Hangry I believe its called! If ya wanna workout where nobody will even say hello to you this is the place! Not for me.
