We had a very positive experience living at the Wilsonian from last September to May. This was our first apartment experience and it was great! The management and maintenance were always very helpful when we sent maintenance requests or had questions over email. Management had occasional holiday parties, which was a cute perk. The pricing was very reasonable for a 1 bedroom in the U District, and so was parking. The location was great, right next to many buses and food places. The 1 bedroom was also really big for the price! It’s an older building but it’s perfectly fine.

Boasting ease of access to both the UW campus and the ave, the Wilsonian is a generally agreeable apartment building for students. The staff is friendly and helpful, and occasional events take place in the newly furnished lobby where food is provided. That alone merits an extra star, but at times the internal temperature can range from industrial cooler to balmy Pacific beaches. Overall, it is a charming stay with a wonderful location.

TLDR: Management does not honor lease document. Extremely unprofessional I had the worst experience dealing with the management of Wilsonian Apartments during summer 2019. I transferred the lease from another tenant and signed a lease document which said our account had a security deposit of 250. Now when our lease ended, the management refuses to acknowledge that we have a deposit. The manager says that it was a mistake on their part in preparing the lease document! Now, he says that no deposit existed and hence they cannot pay it back. So, if there was a mistake on the part of the management, I expect them to own it and return the deposit.

I have lived at the Wilsonian for four years, and I am so sad to be moving. The building is charming and well maintained with a beautiful lobby area and very friendly and efficient maintenance staff. The building managers and leasing agents are professional, and even host pizza parties to celebrate certain holidays or the end of finals. I received wonderful service here especially since Curtis Little took over as the building manager. The staff are accessible and provide quality services. I highly recommend living at the Wilsonian apartments. It is a wonderful place to call home.

The Wilsonian apartments are overall a decent place to live with really friendly staff who will go out of their way to help you at the desk, leasing office, and for maintenance jobs. The only drawbacks are the older building itself and the lack of amenities.
