This is an easy trail for any High clearance vehicle. 4 WD not required. Some nice views and brief steep grades. Mostly small-granite gravel.

What a beautiful drive. We had today. Was funny to see people's reaction to a chevy Cruze on some of the roads we took. Was quite passable at low speeds and some nifty maneuvering along the way.

A small pond in Pike NF off Rampart Rd. Small fish gulp air due to stagnat water. People have dumped trash in the pond plus runoff from a tiny creek.
