Great okazuya take out food. Old school Japanese. Great service. No can go wrong

As always some of the most nostalgic and delicious food! You gotta be patient with the service but it is as always beyond worth it!

Comfort food that brings back memories of eating here with my Dad and step Mom. Their shrimp tempura is the best I have ever had! My fav!

One of our favorite places to eat for authentic Japanese food! Love the okazuya and the sit down restaurant!

Growing up in Hawai‘i you want the ‘local’ flavours. Saimin is a must, or Won Ton min. Old school style maki sushi is becoming harder and harder to find. Sekiya’s still does it right.

Sukiyaki flavorful broth was exquisite, with choice of chicken, into cabbage, shitake mushrooms green onions. Butterfield smooth on to the tongue and deliciously done. Shrimp tempura very heavenly. Glad to come again!

Sekiya's, what's to say about Sekiya's that it's a great mom and pop place to get good local favorites, both dine in and take out (okazu-ya). Like any okazu-ya spot, the local favorites like rice balls (musubi and inari sushi), spam, assorted fried tempura and a whole lot more, can be selected if or when available. Personally, like the old feel to the restaurant, but as for the selections on display, some need to be improved, like the sweet potato tempura. I got lots of tempura, but no sweet, no potato and no sweet potato in it, a bit disappointing, but it is what it is and that went the same for the amount of chow fun given as well. For 3.40, I should've gotten at least a bigger mountain of chow fun in my little foam burger container. I'm not for one to complain about things like this, but I will speak my mind on the little things, such as adding in the right ingredients or even more of one/any ingredient into a food selection. Voted 3 of 5 stars, great place, but needs improvement in the food selection department. Voted 4 of 5 stars for service, great staff, but they need to smile a little more, even through an N95 mask.

The Shrimp Tempura meal & Large Won Ton Min & 2 BBQ Sticks is outstanding. The potato & mac salad is the best on the island. We arrived at 4:30 pm before the dinner rush. Service was impeccable. Very Satisfied
