For the most part the facility is accessible, clean, good lighting and the units are nice. I have seen some mouse droppings on one of my items in my unit (no food or anything edible in my unit). My biggest complaint it that they have gone up on the price several times in the past year. I know there is a pandemic but I don't see how that affects the storage unit business. Will be looking elsewhere if they go up again.

This place is very expensive every month rates goes up, too many MICE, and RATS dirty hallways, they require you buy insurance but if any damages done to you belongings they give alots of excuses, DONT GET THE INSURANCE THROUGH THEM GET YOUR OWN .the manager is nice to you until you show her all the damage the MICE HAVE DONE TO YOU BELONGINGS.

Our family chose to rent a space at Self Storage Plus in White Oak because it is close to our neighborhood. However, the smell in that place has been getting noticeably worse over time. I sent an email to the manager Theresa on December 2, 2020 about how bad the moth ball smell was when we were picking up our holiday decorations. It was so bad that when my husband and teen walked in the door with our things from storage, I could hardly stand the smell! I had to spray everything thoroughly with Febreze. She never responded to my email. I also called in early January and left a message for Theresa to call me back about the smell. She never returned my call. The last time I went into the White Oak office, I spoke directly with an employee who agreed that there is a very bad moth ball smell there. I filled out a vacate form that day to get our things out of that place. Our family started moving our things out of that nasty place right away. When we started moving out, I noticed a bug catcher on the floor in our unit and it was full of dead bugs! So, now they have an infestation problem?! We moved to a bigger and much better smelling storage unit. The best part is, our new unit costs us the same each month as the old one at Self Storage Plus!

If you like rodents urinating and defeating on your belongings until the odour is too strong for you to breathe properly. And then spend alot of money to try and salvage them, this is the place for you. The manager did not care.

While we struggle through this season of life called covid-19 we hope that people are treated with the utmost kindness and understanding. This local storage facility embraces the absolute ideal that people are going through a unfortunate time that has been unexpectedly thrusted into their everyday lives. The storage manager Theresa handles you with grace and respect. Alot of times when you struggle to afford to pay for something you tend to avoid the problem. She has always worked to find the best solution while doing her job. My two recent excellent experiences were with 2 other young ladies one named Asia who answered the phone and It was a pleasure to greeted with the same consistent style of customer service.
