The guy came in and told the girls he was there for the annual check. He said the two needed charging and one was broken. He over charged for the service 29.00 each and the new extinguisher 60.00. I checked my records and realized I had never done business with them. I called and asked the lady if I had done business with them before and she said my name was very familiar But then could find NOTHING in the records. I told her I was stopping payment on the check and they could give me back my old extinguisher and take the over priced one away. I also told he I would pay a reasonable price for the service I did not ask for. She said send a fax to her and the owner which I did. The guy came and got the unit and gave me a replacement which WAS NOT THE ONE HE TOOK . So I thought it was over. I get a bill in the mail from them for the full amount AND 12.00 for the stop payment charge. Then a collections gal calls and tells me what she wants and I try to explain what had gone on and she keeps interrupting me to tell me who "I need to talk to" I finally just hung up. Stay tuned....I expect the harassment isn't over. Terrible service, terrible public relations,.....

Their MO is to walk in to an office, commercial building, etc., and ask the TENANT if they can service their extinguishers, and then ask "who gets the bill?" If you're a property manager, or a building owner reading this, or heck, another fire extinguisher vendor, you're probably thinking "Wow. Bad form." Bad form, indeed. Owners and property managers have contracts with companies to service their extinguishers. So this vendor walks in and tricks the tenant, who knows nothing, into using them. Then they send the owner or property manager the bill. Those extinguishers may not even be due for service. My company called them because this happened. We manage commercial buildings for property owners. The representative was rude and stated that "this is always the way it is done." Hence, the bad review. A well-deserved, bad review.
