I’ve been lucky enough to fish many species of fish all over the world, and my drift trip for silver salmon with Shane this week was one of the best ever! He’s a damn good fisherman, and very personable. I highly recommend him, you won’t be disappointed!

My sister and I went on a trip with Shane this past weekend. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend booking with Shane if you are looking for a great trip. He is extremely knowledable and puts you on fish. 10/10 recommend, book the trip, you won't regret it.
Absolutely amazing!!!! My family had such a great time and we caught a ton of fish! Very experienced professionals who showed us a great time, this wasn't our first trip with this crew and it won't be our last!!
My husband and I went with Shane on a guided fishing trip. It was magnificent! Shane did and excellent job. Neither of us had been fishing in FORTY YEARS!!! But Shane made it so easy (except my arms are a little sore from reeling in the 26 pound King salmon I caught!!). Shane took care of the boat, the fishing poles, he got us untangled when we hit a snag, he cleaned the fish and did so many other things to make our trip just fantastic and perfect. We can’t recommend him highly enough. He was really wonderful and we will be hiring him again. Highest recommendation to everyone.
We saw all kinds of good reviews online and decided to go with him. Caveat, he was really nice and I know you can get shut out on a day of fishing. But, the guide has to put us in a position to catch fish. We met at 4:00 am and rowed out about 50 yards. We sat anchored for 2-2.5 hours. (My son did hook a nice fish and we missed it. That’s on us). Finally we got him to move and he talked about how that was our best chance. After daylight it’s hard to catch... we floated for a while and he was basically going through the motions. My two sons were aboard and they realized pretty quickly that casting was futile. The river was so shallow we couldn’t even float, let alone fish. He spent a hard 1/2 hour pushing us in less than a foot of water. After the first hole (which again was 50 yds from the parking lot) he was basically just wasting time until we took out. I think he’s a really nice guy, however, I came from NC with the hopes of catching a salmon. 700 (all the taxes and fees for PayPal) later we were pretty disappointed. My wife and I are teachers, that’s a lot of money for us, give us a chance. A good guide should know the water levels and either pick a different place to fish or have us reschedule. I emailed him afterwards to ask about the trip and he didn’t bother to write back. What do I want out of writing this review? Just to have the next person ask more questions. (Obviously I’ll take a partial or full refund too)
