My girlfriend and I recently took the train to Seward from Anchorage and did the 3.5 hour Wildlife Cruise. The check-in process was simple and straightforward. As we boarded the boat, we were greeted by the friendly captain and crew. The boat itself was nice and offered many great viewing spots for the trip. It was also clean and offered amenities such as bathrooms, plenty of seating and tables, and a snack bar that also had alcoholic drinks. The tour itself was a lot of fun. We ventured out and saw many different types of wildlife. We were lucky that it was a beautiful day to be out on the water. Also, during the tour, our captain and crew provided a fantastic narration. We learned a lot. Overall, it was a fantastic tour that I would highly recommend if you are in Seward, especially via the train.

We did 8,5 hours cruise. It was amazing. Captain made a lot of stops, so everyone was able to see birds, whale, killer whale and other wild life. Crew is very friendly, organized and knowledgeable. The only one complaint is food. They have only option, sandwiches with ham. There is no vegetarian option. And quality of sandwich may be better.
We had an absolutely amazing time!! The whole staff was welcoming and helpful. The education information provided throughout the cruise was very enlightening. We never felt rushed at any sights. They turned the boat so that everyone could get a good view without having to be on top of each other. The special touches provided by the crew just topped it off. Lunch was nice. But having glacier ice drinks was just cool! We even got to see killer whales. Amazing. If you have time. Please go. This is not the first nature cruise we have been on. But it is by the best yet.
We’ve gone on two cruises with Major Marine. Would go back to them next time we are in the area. They piloted to boat to see great sights and I felt they knew what they were doing. Was impressed that we left our glasses case on the boat and they shipped it home to us, cross-country, complimentary. Really appreciated that. It’s not a cheap outing but you get your money’s worth!
The service was amazing. All of the employees we very helpful and friendly. The views were amazing. They really took their time to stop and view the wildlife. I wish I could give them more stars.
